Accountability Poem by Suzanna C Chevalier

Does a sheriff need to be accountable for putting an innocent citizen in jail?
I think if he was
we would stop a lot of damage without fail.
I think it is sad that a biased sheriff
can do this without hard evidence
so why not have a written analysis?
Written analysis of the written statements of those who accuse
Right then and there you will see their written word is a lie
this is something the American people should demand
and WE shouldn’t be denied.
If we are to be the Country that is so Great
let’s put our money where it is needed
before it is too late.
