Across The Pond Poem by Sammy Sparrow

I'm watching you from across the pond
Your eyes are flashing, your hair is blonde
Your smile is brighter then the sun and your spirit is livelier then the birds
But your across the pong away from me
I can' see what your going to be but i turn around
The pain you cause me can't be described with words
Because of you I'm lost
Because of you my heart is covered with frost
Were we really ever close?
Maybe this pond has always been there
Maybe i was blinded by love and care
Maybe i was just to stupid to notice
But now i have reached the cross roads of my destiny
I can choose the path that may be hard and find my self in that seat besides you
Or i could leave this pond and move on with my life and bid you adieu
Its hard to say which path is less traveled by
But i can't decide, my heart is torn in two directions
Why is it that i always think of you first no matter who i'm with or where i am
This is the hardest question i've had on any exam
I feel you slipping away into the dark
And right now no matter how hard i try i can't save you
Your slowly leaving on a quest that i can not embark
Memories of you flow from all directions
Even if i tried to let you go its to hard, we have too many connections
I will cherish our memories no matter what
Across the pond you may not see me while you have your own plan
I may take some time and act differently but bear with me if you can
It hurts but i can deal with the pain don't worry about me
I won't give up on you, i will get through this and find the answer
Just you wait and see
