</>the actuality of my reality has taken over
from it my thoughts never let me escape
days and nights feel colder and longer
things that once brought joy faded away
only cold air and dark clouds now exist
the feeling of emptiness has settled in
loneliness is the passenger for this ride
as i travel down this road to uncertainty
which seems to never end with many forks
indecisive about which road to travel
with closed eyes I blindly allow my faith steer
my destiny, guided by my love for her
recollections of the past hits like an anvil
for who I love is no more, gone in the wind
Scents of perfume worn lingers in air
as faith still drives while my feelings descend
a sudden halt the car comes destination unknown
my faith still guides as I willing follow
to wherever my heart leads me and I call home
