Addiction Poem by Alex Night

Addiction

Who else could do this to me but
you?
You've got me running into
dead end walls
and taking the pain because it puts a
smile on your face and a
twinkle in your eyes.
You are indeed
my drug
and I am in fact,
addicted.
You are my speed.
I keep going on and on.
Running on you.
I know this isn't healthy
or right
but I can't stop.
I can try
but you will always win.
You're my
guilty addiction.
