Adieu Poem by somebody else

Adieu

I know hills and valleys, do all couples walk through,
but it truly seems as if that hill, into a mountain grew.
For in our relasionship, I have become very withdrawn,
and no reason to pretend, for all the smiles are gone.
I've realized you are not the one, of whom I sought,
because if this is love, then at all impressed, I'm not.
Truly for sometime now, have things been bleak,
for I could just nolonger stand, to hear you speak.
So if married were we, by now a divorce I'd want,
for indeed your presence, does my heart haunt.
You've made me remember, how good my exes were,
and for any of them to be in my arms, I'd much perfer.
So spend anymore time together, would be a waste,
and you're no big loss, and to be eagerly replaced.
It's surely been a experience, this journey with you,
but with absolute gladness, do I finally bid adieu.
