Adorable One So Good - Poem by Michael P. McParland

Adorable one I care about in every way
if it weren't for you and the hope
I've always carried for us in the love
I know within my heart and soul we hold
I would have lost the battle long ago.
The love I hold for you
and the love I know you hold for me
has gotten me through.
Even in our toughest times I knew
our love could not be defeated
and was not dead.

Adorable one you cannot know
how my heart melts for you completely.
I can't tell you all of what
I hold within my heart and soul
because as much as I want to in every way
there are no words to describe
the emotions and depth I feel.
How can one ever hope to verbalize
an emotion and admiring love
held so intense, immense and deep.
Adorable one you are a perfect gem to me.

Adorable one how I long to just hold you
close to me giving both of us peace
and comfort that we've been deprived.
I long to show you all the loving care I hold,
I want be the perfect man for my perfect Queen.
Provide true support and never ending love
for my true sweet Angel dove.
You are a gift and miracle I cherish
and treasure in every way to no end.

Adorable one hear and feel my hearts call
for I would never think of giving
myself to another soul.
You are my best friend and I care for you
so much I'd do anything to protect you
or that you needed to be happy and smile.
Adorable one there is nothing in this world
or anywhere else there is that I want more
than to be by your side forever hand in hand.
I love you more than anything there can ever be.
