My African women
Whose tender gaze has woken the giant within me
For it sees and searches my darkest wound
Healing them quickly and gently
And refining me a whole
Our African women
Whose beautifulness has entices the strongest men of our clan
Making them meekly as a dove
And protective as an eagle
African women
Whose beautiful blood
Flows am glows
In the heritage of their colour
For in it lies our pride
