After a spring rain
Partridges perch in jasmine trees.
Roses bloom in scented gardens,
Ivy climbs ancient walls,
Lotus blossoms dance in the breeze.

For you I dream
Of distant worlds,
Of forgotten songs.
Let us walk together in the spring,
Singing and laughing.
