Again Poem by Brittany Gorski

My heart is breaking
Tears roll down my pallor cheeks
Thoughts of losing you fill my head
I take a shaky breath in
I lose all control when I see you with her
I fall to my knees in front of you
Begging you to come back
Glaring at me you walk away
I scramble up
And run home
Crying in the bathroom
I find my blade
Slowing my breathing
I slide it over my wrist
I watch the bright red blood trickle out
Closing my eyes
I slide it over again
again
again
I feel the control come back to me
Smiling I lay down
