Aged Mirrors (19) Poem by Raquel Angel Nagler

Aged Mirrors (19)

Our body: aged as our years.
Other eyes grow on our eyes.
Slowly
They try to find us.

The aged eyes.
All I see written on the wall
Are question marks.

QUOTE: " The Greeks burn their ships when they reach the shore" -Iliad
Slowly, gradually we realize
Time burns our ships
With us inside them.
