Alien Abduction Poem by Mary Champion

Alien Abduction

Slowly,
yet in no time at all,
she felt herself being drawn upwards
towards the unearthly light.

Somewhere,
aeons ago,
she had been unshackled from gravity
and now drifted, cocooned by love,
on a sea of tranquillity.

Somehow,
although everything had changed,
she had never felt more at peace -
nor more at home.
