All Hail The Lamb Poem by Michael P. Johnson

All Hail The Lamb

ALL HAIL THE LAMB
Water, flowed from his broken heart
The Heaven's raged in storm
Man's crown, that played its gruesome part
Lay by His lifeless form

Pain ceased at last with life's last thrust
As darkness hid the sun
The King of kings lay in the dust
The Father's will was done

All hell fell prostrate to its knees
All devils ceased to roar
When Christ The Lord received the keys
To death's wide gaping door

"Victory" was the cry above
Through temple curtains torn
Now eyes can see the Father's love
In souls through Christ reborn

For all in Christ will fail to die
Will live God's face to see
"All hail The Lamb of God, " we'll cry
Who ‘s blood has set us free

The devil thought his work was done!
The cross, was Christ's defeat
But victory rose with God the Son
When death fell at His feet

The spirit world, turned upside down
When God the facts revealed
When Christ put on His glory crown
When Satan's fate was sealed

Life's gates today are open wide
Through death upon the tree
Now Jesus reigns and calls inside
To all His blood sets free…..
