All I Ever Wanted - Poem by Karen Montegrande

There's just too much to handle,
There's just to much to know,
But when i fell for you
All i needed was to show,
show you how much i care,
show you how much I love You,
but in the end all i ever wanted did not came true,

From a fantasy i thought i had you,
everything was so real i thought i can love you,
But when i open my eyes i lost you,
You turn out to be a dream
and i wanna keep dreaming about you,

I felt so heavy when you told me you had to go,
I can't hide the pain and tears started to flow,
How come some people just don't want some to feel happy,
How come they pretend too much to show they care,
when the truth is they just wish to be there,
I lost everything with the blink of an eye,
I lost myself and it's hard to lie,
For those few moments i thank you,
'cause you made me happy and you made some of my wishes came true,

Now i stare at every memory i recall,
I stop 'cause trying to move on doesn't work after all,
When all i ever wanted was taken away from me,
You're all i ever wanted who can make me happy,
even when you don't do anything at all,
I'm still here, I'll be here, waiting for you,
'cause you're all i ever wanted and that's true.
all i ever wanted was YOU.
