All Over Again Poem by Andre Brown

All Over Again

I don't say it enough but you became someone who reminded me how it feels to truly love again,
And somehow you showed me that even a broken heart can begin again,
I didn't realize how closed my heart was until you walked into my life,
Then suddenly loving again felt like something I no longer had to fight,
Helping me remember who I was beneath all the heaviness,
You reminded me that even through the darkness there can still be a sense of happiness,
You stayed with me through moments I couldn't fully explain,
And somehow you made me feel safe enough to be vulnerable through my pain,
The comfort you've given me is enough to keep me believing in possibilities, in hope, in something greater than myself,
Because being loved by you has shown me that I don't have to carry everything by myself,
I probably don't tell you enough but when you came along I felt something in me shift back into place,
Like a missing piece of my soul had finally returned and found its rightful space,
Like my heart had finally remembered to beat again,
And with every beat, it seems to fall a little deeper for you all over again.
