All the newspapers do is Poem by Els Moors

All the newspapers do is

all the newspapers do is
accept messages
and once they're there
and set the tone
and the tone is right

there is just one story
the war is over the soldier
has come home now he beats his wife and child
or hides away in a cave
under a bearskin

the devil always comes

there are two cities
people say yesterday and tomorrow
to be done with it
I don't care either way
berlin new york - new york berlin

as a president you're vilified
as a child of man it is difficult to
shake off a bear, naked, again
these are not my words

this is a summary
of a speech god
