All While Rose Petals Fall Down

like the rythmic motion of water,
your words swirl inside my head,
they make their way into my heart,
the essence of your eyes,
paint a portrait of your soul,
forever locked in my heart,
all while rose petals fall down.

the taste of your lips,
leave a bittersweet sensation,
god's true grace,
is shown in your creation,
in the apathy of my desire,
willingly i walk into the fire,
love's burning flames,
leave an emptyness and space,
but still i search for your gorgeous face,
all while rose petals fall down.
