Allegratto Poem by Jim Manning

Allegratto

Rating: 4.0

A guitar
trebles
acoustic waves.

You move
echo the
staccato thump.

Somewhere—
a flute twists
hooded sounds

rising from sultry soil—
thermal tones throb.
Moving near,

I finally feel
the gasp of silk

stroke my skin.
