Alphabet Party Poem by John Chvirko

Alphabet Party

An angel's
Blue bumblebee and a
Couple of crickets
Dance delightfully.
Eager elephants and a
Fabulous flamingo
Gulp gumdrops and
Hop happily to the beat of the fandango.
Iguanas eating ice cream and
Joyful janitors with
Kangaroos in a kayak
Locate a lizard with a
Moustache making music in a Cadillac.
Nearsighted nuns in navy blue eat
Oysters, onions
Pickles and pot pie too. A
Queen joins a quartet of
Raspberry reindeer playing
Silver saxophones with
Tabby cats and turtles
Under umbrellas on the trombones.
Violet violins are played to perfection by a
Wealthy woodpecker and
Xavier - and x-ray technician - joined by a
Youthful yellow
Zebra playing with zeal - he just can't conceal!
