Am I A Good Man? Poem by sundaram chandrakalaadhar

Am I A Good Man?

Rating: 5.0

I am introduced as a 'good man! '
I suppress my surging laughter!
I and he must both be dishonest!
How dishonest I am is privy to me-
Sweet-layered poison I am!
Countless are my masks-
Get confused when to wear which!
My tongue licks the world
With titanic lies far exceeding waves!
I am a blend of all vices and virtues!
A mixture of all dirt and decorations;
Pleasing fragrances and offensive odours-
A melting cauldron of a variety of emotions;
The mirror threatens me with my own image!
Doubt at times whether I walk
With two or more legs, speak or whine;
I am clear you don't believe what he says-
Yet the wheel of this world
Has no other way to grind!
Yes, I reflect in you
And you in me, is it not?
