Am I Strong Enough? Poem by Nightshade Starlight

My heart is tearing,
I can feel my eyes prickling.
You were everything.
You held my heart,
You held my dreams.
You knew everything.
I can't believe that this is happening?
How could I have missed it?
Why didn't I see it?
You ripped and tore me to shred
Now I'm left bleeding,
With forever wounds.
You act like there's nothing wrong,
That you were the man I thought,
But no. I should of known.
You were just a pretty face
Smiling and Deceiving.
Now I have to ask the question
To myself.
Am I strong enough,
To leave this life behind.
I guess I have to be,
Or I won't make it
Through the fall.
