American Poem by poet virginus ndubuisi

American

American
American is a country
But there is no country like it.
American,
American,
American is an Orji tree.
It neither wider nor falls down.
When will we be like thee?
It is as clean as firmament.
And no other detergent is like it,
It has children,
But its children are medical doctors,
Barristers and crusaders, America,
I idolize thee all,
When will you be in America?
America has flowers like,
Rose, Daffodils, surrounds its border.
When will you see its border?
It's like a virgin lady, it charms,
It has charmed good teenage,
And adults, while the bad ones she reject.
We idolize you.
I have dreamed,
I have prayed and now,
I am fasting for you.
