American Love Poem by Fire Flies

American Love

You lied to me.
You hurt me.
You said you loved me.
You made me feel like I was someone.
Now that I know that was all a lie...
I lay here hurt.
I try hard to forget about you.
I feel torn apart.
I feel beyond hurt.
I try to find a way to forget about all of it.
Nothing seems to ever work.
Do you not see that you were my every thing.
I depended on you more then I should have.
I knew that it was all to good to be true.
Bitter, sweet, sour, confusing, yupp basically.
Every thing except happy ever after.
Or just happy at all.
