An Alcoholics Remorse Poem by Arthur Hummler

An Alcoholics Remorse

I'm laying here in a pile of guilt
for all the chaos I have built
I don't know what my problem is
for being so malign
maybe I'm evil
or maybe it's a sign
Telling me to stop
this stupid game
before I die
in a fire of shame
I don't mean to cause harm
on myself and society
So I am thinking
one word - SOBRIETY
