An End To Pain Poem by Frank Caldone

An End To Pain

Sleeping pills and gun in hand
Walking up to the top of the tower
The thought of homicide racing in my head
All the pain
All the torment
All the sorrow
No longer will this haunt me
All the nightmarish flash backs in my dreams
All the darkness in my soul
No one cared to listen to my tale
To hold me
To love me
And I no one to love
To hold
All that I ever have know is hate
I try to make friends
To find love
To have hope
To find faith
Useless
All of it
Do not blame me for what others have done
what others have not done
There is no turning back
There is no regret in my end
and end to it all
the end.
