An Evident Soul Poem by Shahida Latif

An Evident Soul

I am not confound and confused,
Like any arguing philosopher,
Or calculating mathematician,
For I can observe with vivid vision,
An evident soul hiding, concealing,
In layers of the colours, and fragrance,
Enveloping the whole scheme,
Manifesting in countless forms,
But living behind in unique singularity.
