An Experience - Poem by Nesean Coombs

Ur here one second then gone the next

I geuss thats something I shud expect

Its all ur fault yet you say that its mine

I let it go so I don't waste my time

My heart disagrees with my choices inside

Im searching for one in whom I can confide

I don't want to do what u told me to do

But instead I run a mile and hop for u 2

I got shit to do, and shit on my mind

I got my own life and plus ur doin fine

Ur pockets aren't empy ur kids them aren't crying

All u can keep up is arguments and lying

While im here just struggling and trying

Plus me and the kids get by, we surviving

Food on the table js on our feet

While u holla at every dumb chick that u meet

And I hope that they are something to see

And I hope their ALL better lookin then me

And more focused about what they want in life

u can give th3m 3 cuz u got no more strikes

Time is money though money isn't all

Forget goin to the movies how about a phone call

The little things that count are the little things that matter

The 'how was work', 'u sound tired' r the lil things that flatter

I dont really ask for much u kno how simple I get

U gave me the Experience of a lifetime & i'll never forget
