An Unknown Poet Poem by James Moremi

An Unknown Poet

Rating: 5.0

I am an unknown poet
For i don't know my capabilities
When a pen is being put on the paper
Unleashing its ink on the hidden zeal of an unknown inner me
Throughout my entire life, i have been wearing a mask
Which i was unable to take off
Cause of fearing outside forces
I was told to come out of my closet
Hence my booth was so comfortable
Thinking i would be swallowed by the real world
Whirl wind could have forcefully elevated me
I unmasked my tattooed mask hoping i could find closure
And start on a new slate as was my calling
Yet the mask was just first layer of my facial hindrances

Throughout my entire life, i have been wearing a mask Which i was unable to take off...........the moment when we are able to live without masks, only then we will be really happy. tony

We are all constrained by our own minds. Our minds are us and we are our minds. All the answers you seek can be obtained through writing your poems. That will be your autobiography. Challenge your mind.++10
