An Unprofitable Dealing With Death Poem by Tulsi Shrestha

An Unprofitable Dealing With Death

An Unprofitable Dealing With Death
A life seeking always profitable dealings
Expecting return from everyone & everything
Prefers to wear mask of humanity
To cheat, betray and lie even for a peny.
Dreams money while sleeping
Thinks of profit even while eating.
No doubt, your life likes to ensure
Profit in each and every scheme.
Forgets to breathe pure air
While counting bundles of note.
It never tries to listen melody of heart.
But, with the lapse of time, sorrow starts to grow
Hopes fail to glow with decreasing trend of
Energy and stamina prevailing inside you.
You grow old and weak day by day.
Cruel future Waits for you to welcome
Cheerful past gone forever, turns nostalgic pain.
Your heart feels uncomfortable to beat
Your lungs claim unable to inhale breath.
What you gained, turns, all useless
Dimension of your life, gets changed
Life concludes it doesn't want to
Live just to survive and grieve.
In ultimate hour, it decides to make
First time in circle of its whole life.
"An Unprofitable Dealing With Death "
Accompanied by certificate of eternity
No any question and answer,
No any expectation of return
Just infinite silence with painful scream.
For betrayal, sin that it had already committed.
