Anchored To Timeless Time
(Understanding LD)

I have a unique, unique mind,
The way I learn may differ, but I learn.
Difference is not more and not less,
My lifelong path is clear in my mind
The way I learn is not more and not less.

The brain is a map that works in its own way,
Processing and storing the things people say.
A learning disability lasts a whole life through,
Affecting daily skills and the things we can do.
It is not just a hurdle like a math or reading zone,
It touches general intelligence and how a life is grown.

While difficulties like dyslexia target just one space,
A disability guides the whole mind's steady pace.
The flying birds, the buzzing insects,
The walking mammals and the crawling tortoise
All set towards the same direction, the same destination,
Each shall arrive in their own perfect time.

Sometimes words come slowly, or moving takes more care,
And autism or ADHD might also be right there.
It changes how we understand and care for who we are,
But with the proper helping hand, anyone goes far.

With plans made just for them at work or at their school,
Every single person gets the right and helpful tool.
Because a learning disability is different for each face,
And everyone learns all through life, inside their own sweet space.

I have my own view,
I prize my own perspective.
Not limited by your timing,
But anchored to timeless time.
Time is timeless; but hour is fast
