The smile on her face was too beautiful to see
I'm not sure whether it was meant for me
Those rosy red cheeks and strawberry coated lips
Ebony eyes on the ivory skin
All merged together in perfect symmetry with her smile
It fell down after a few minutes,
How I wish it lasted for a little while more
And I got down on my knees, pretending to tie my shoes
While probably she was deciding on what to choose
I had a glimpse of her face once again
Before she ran for shelter as it started to rain.
And I followed her and she probably noticed that I didn't want to get wet
I ensured that I stood next to her and boy was this a moment not to forget
The cold wind and the wetness of my clothes dried off with her smile
It melted my heart so much that I made my face like a hungry reptile
And then I heard the thunder strike so loud
I realized that it was too odd a sound for a thunderstorm
Another one and a bit too early from the usual rain
And a third one in succession and there was the weird sound once again.
And I felt a weird knock on my head
And then I saw my professor yelling at me for he thought I was dead.
