And The Lights Poem by Haldun Unal

And The Lights

And the lights
We could see now
They were out
They were free
They were everywhere

And they were out;
Visitors have wondered
Where the people are
No voice heard here
No hands shook here
Hardly said 'hello' people.
People were out.
