And The Wind Blows Poem by Mary Naylor

And The Wind Blows

Rating: 5.0

Rock-a-bye baby in the jailhouse,
Mama left sanctuary, and quickly got caught.
Hush little baby, be quiet as a mouse,
Or you may be reported, and a guard will be brought!

Hear the wind blow, hear the wind blow, mama and baby
to Mexico!
Papi will fend for the children, alone.
As broken illegal immigration laws howl and blow
Away they all go, with shattered hearts and aching souls!

~Does this remind you of another Little Family long ago? ~
