Angel Of The Sky - Poem by Sarah Elizabeth DuVal
She came into this world, only four years ago,
as a gift to you, from the Lord above.
A smile spread across your face as she
First learned how to walk,
And also when she began to talk.
She soon entered preschool, where she
Learned how to read and write, and then
She learned how to sing and dance.
It was on one fateful Sunday evening,
That the news came, that she might not survive.
And in the early morning of Monday,
She slipped away to her Lord.
She shall always look down us,
And she shall forever be joyful,
For she is an angel of the sky,
An angel of the sky.
Dedicated to Brittany Daniels.
