Anonymity, Not My Thing Poem by Tor Magnor Solvang

Anonymity, Not My Thing

A clear heart, open wide,
Nothing tucked away to hide.
Sunlight spills on all I do,
Honest words, both old and new.

But whispers say, 'Be less seen,
A shadowed life, a muted sheen.'
This feels so wrong, a twisted game,
To cloak myself in nameless fame.

Perhaps I don't fit in this place,
Where secrets weave a hidden lace.
I share my joy, I share my pain,
In sunshine, wind, and falling rain.

To dim my light, to hold it back, is a path where I would lose the track
This open book, this honest way,
Is how I choose to live each day.
