Anyone Else But Me Poem by The Power_Palace.Poet_Union.Order Sir.

Anyone Else But Me

Anyone else except me,
That's all I ever wish to be.
Oh, how I long to break free,
From this life that's drowning me.
Anyone else except me,
I'm tired of pretending to be.
A perfect mold, a fantasy,
I just want to be truly me.
Anyone else except me,
I'm suffocating, can't you see?
Trapped in a world of monotony,
I crave for something wild and free.
Anyone else except me,
I don't fit in, I never will be.
A puzzle piece that can't agree,
In a picture that I can't foresee.
Anyone else except me,
My thoughts and feelings, let them flee.
For they only bring pain and misery,
And leave me with a shattered identity.
Anyone else except me,
I don't belong, can't you see?
In this society, I'm a refugee,
Just looking for a place to truly be.
Anyone else except me,
I envy those who are carefree.
For they hold the key to eternity,
While I'm stuck in this reality.
Anyone else except me,
I'm drowning in my own sea.
Of doubts and fears, I can't break free,
Oh, how I long for a sense of clarity.
Anyone else except me,
I am nothing, just debris.
Lost in the shadows, can't you see?
In this world, I'm just a nobody.
Anyone else except me,
I am simply a broken melody.
A discord in this symphony,
Invisible, unheard, a mere casualty.
Anyone else except me,
I am an echo, a reflection, a forgery.
A mere imitation, can't you see?
Of who I truly long to be.
Anyone else except me,
I am a prisoner, can't you see?
Bound by society's expectations, I plea,
For someone to set me free.
Anyone else except me,
I'm tired of this endless journey.
Trying to fit in, to be somebody,
Oh, how I long for some normalcy.
Anyone else except me,
I'm done with this charade, can't you see?
I am who I am, and that's all I'll ever be,
And that's enough, I will finally decree.
Anyone else except me,
I'll embrace my flaws, my complexity.
For they make me unique, can't you see?
And that's all I ever wish to be.
Anyone else except me,
I'll live my life unapologetically.
For I am me, and that's my destiny,
To be who I am, and love myself endlessly.
Anyone else except me,
I'll no longer seek for society's mercy.
For I am enough, can't you see?
And that's all I ever need to be.
Anyone else except me,
I am who I am, proudly.
No longer will I crave to be,
Anyone else except me.
