Apocalips Poem by Jay Alexander

Apocalips

Do you compete with
A butterfly
Whose trembling wings can
Create lovely chaos
Of course not
Adieu then beautiful assassin
Anisoptera
When you hover
Like a drone
Make love
Then leave her
Remember
That butterfly's
Fluttering joy
Will annihilate you
