Apogee Man Poem by Christine P

This is the story of the Apogee man, who came down from the North with the mightiest force.
To the land of ten thousand lakes.
From the Cherokee nation, with little rations.
He settled with his Irish girl.

This man was put down from all over town, as his legacy was bashed and banned.
He was with his young son, when their boat went down.
At least that was the rumor in town.

Some people just lie, and some people just mysteriously die in the land of ten thousand lakes.
