Are Christian churches standing true?
Is Christ our ruling King?
Is God content in what we do?
And that to Him we bring
We’re compromising everywhere
We’re losing fought for ground
We ought to seek our God in prayer
Until The Truth is found
Many may say they’ve heard from Him
God’s Way has been revealed
Then turn like sheep with eyes still dim
And graze a neighbour’s field
In church we’ll praise we’ll dance and sing
We’ll walk and talk as blessed
Yet tolerate the vilest thing
And say it’s for the best
Despicable things are welcomed now
Bending religious knees
At Jesus’ name their heads may bow
Whilst doing as they please
The world stares in sheer disgust
Neighbours jeer and mock
When priests today so plagued with lust
May teach a Christian flock
Whom do we serve in faith and trust?
Where do our values stand?
Treading God’s precepts in the dust
Shaking each other’s hand
God’s holy Word is plain to see
Testaments old and new
Complete as one we must agree
And in obedience do! ! ! ! !
