political beings
of perfect virtue

family is to household
as husband is to wife

as father is to son
as master is to slave

as superior is to inferior
an all natural

state of organics
and instrument of action

take me to the
lyceum, and

scratch the academy
i want to observe

not idealize like
your teacher

i want to know your
thoughts on the soul

on rhetoric
classify me as

a guardian
a citizen of

your ideal state
but your long dead
