Armageddon Poem by Michael Koelliker

Armageddon

The Rift tears open the midday sky.
His tapestry emblazoned upon the clouds.
The sacrifice complete; I can hear the cries.
I have one question left, are you proud?

This is the punishment for all their lies.
The echos ring through my head so loud.
I see Him descend as my eyes dry.
I take my last breath as I see His crown.

The King has come bringing their demise.
His judgment knows no Earthly bounds.
I have no regrets as I look in his eyes.
The azure flame burns their souls down.

One by One they form a line around.
The prayers of the damned are a mute sound.
