Armageddon And Angels Poem by Edward James

Armageddon And Angels

Rating: 2.7

I watched him land.
He closed his eyes,
and opened his hands.
He stood outstretched,
In an attempted plan,
To save us all.

And as the Brimstone fell,
Gaciously to the ground,
With all the Violence in hell.
He opened his eyes,
And I could tell:
We have been let down.

He felt as if God had failed him, what he had forgotten is that in the bible it says something along the lines of the one who seems most like God- like is more likely the devil
