Arson Poem by Janine Alyssa Navarro

Arson

don’t say
goodbye;
put out this fire
that scorches,
your light
keeps me alive
I’ve many whys
but effortlessly
you were
answers
that kept
falling on me;
your voice
and smile,
I lose sight
of me, was,
this burns me
life was what
you’ve given;
to breathe
to see
to live
to watch
you turn into
arson
