As Humanity Is To Spirituality. Poem by Peezo Ekerioma

As Humanity Is To Spirituality.

Eventually, curious to know the truth about the affairs of spirituality,
I pleaded with God to reveal himself to me,
And maybe if not him, his angels.
I begged the devil too,
Neither of them came through...

...Maybe they are scared I know too much,
Too much that we're puns, queens knights and bishops,
Kings that pretend to rule the world,
The ones they ascribe power to, six the third...

...Maybe they are scared I'll ask too many questions
And might just loose course of my mission.
Mission on earth, the one they call highway to heaven,
Or rule in hell, have a dragon with heads that's seven...

...Maybe they're scared I realized we'll be unhuman in a world of peace.
They cheers to our vengeance, murders and world wars,
Humanity which is our weakness puts them at ease,
Their spirituality they use as great weapon over us...

...Maybe they're not scared, maybe I should stand tall,
Maybe they've got ego that makes me seem small,
Maybe God should rise, maybe the devil should fall...
...Or maybe they are not just there at all.
