As I Draw A Deep Breath And Exhale A Shuddering Sigh Poem by Lors Dilouley

As I Draw A Deep Breath And Exhale A Shuddering Sigh

another heavy sigh
i find it hard to speak through electronics
i fear that i wont be able to open up
due to lack of time
and because of cold plastic instead of you.

so i close my weary eyes
and bow my heavy head
and pray to the only One who hears me now
and can see me.
i dont have to tell Him.
and i thank Him that His presence is always here
and it's all i need. ever.

*psalm 81: 10*

an addition:
i wanted to tell you of my frustrations.
i wanted to tell you of my discouragement.
i wanted to tell you of my shortcomings as a teacher.
i wanted to tell you...everything.

but it takes so long to admit it.
it takes too much time to swallow my pride and just let it out.
and i feared crying over skype as i almost did in the middle of class.
how helpless would you feel then?
as i cry on my own shoulder with my head down,
and you unable to do anything but watch the screen or avert your eyes?
