As The Moon Promised The Night Poem by Daniel Omale

As The Moon Promised The Night

As the moon promised the night
and to the day the sun
I promise you the depth of my heart
as the blood rush through my veins
so is my lover through my head

the oceans gives the blue gift
the sky the silver rays
my lover the mesmerizing smiles
yours is devine enchantment

if the world set me on my knees
enduring the panics and fate
let my heart creep to your arms
or blossom in your light

the fields awaits the rain
the cab man the sweet passengers
but I longed to touch yours eyes
or sit beside you before the stars
