Ashes - Poem by Blanche Hardin

There Stood A Man,
Covered In Grey.
He Held Out His Hand,
But Had Nothing To Say.
I Knew My Task,
So I Didnt Ask.
As We Both Faded Into The Darkness That Never Seemed To Stop,
I Felt My Heartbeat Slowly Begin To Drop.
