why did i let you go
slipped through my hand like water
it brings me down like oil
suffocating all i am, stand for, know
walk silently, combust inside
i feel it, each step so harsh
don't say those lies, don't you dare
you're the one walking away
i fear you'll look back, i won't look back
i see through your glassy pale face
those tears. you don't deserve. not at all
you dropped me. i fall.
