Ask Me Why I Could Never Love You Poem by Carson Burton

Ask Me Why I Could Never Love You

You ask me why you don't love me

I ignore

You ask me again

I still ignore.

You ask me repeatedly

I answer irritated because you never loved me to begin with.

Stabbing me in the back

Agonizing my feelingsisn'tlove.

Let's face it a girl like you have no soul.

It's devilish to a point where I'm filled with poison.

I'm so weak to love you

I thought that I could love you but then again you constantly broke me liketrash.

You ask me why I could never love you

Is that you're in love with pain.

You expect me so much to be beneath you

Yet in reality you're the one who's beneath me.

I try to love you

I try to give you my all

But the pain the suffering was too abominate to maintain my love for you.

Don't ask me why I can't love you

Because quite frankly you're a tame monster

You're the one that I should hate but I can't

To hate you is like being beneath your qualities

How can I love a person without a soul

Who don't feel like I feel

Who loves pain so much you would think they hate themselves

Ask me again why I don't love you

Easily You're beneath me

Ask me again why I could never love you

Because you never once care

Lastly Ask me again why I could never love you

Because you're in love with pain and not my love
