Astray - Poem by Courtney Steele

MAYBE STEEPING OUT MAKES YOU REALIZE YOU ONLY WANT TO BE IN

BUT THEN AGAIN

THAT'S WHERE THE DESTRUCTION BEGINS

SINS & SINS

LOVE CAN'T FALL IN PLACE

DRAINED HER SOUL HER TEARS ARE COLD

HER LOVE HAS GONE TO WASTE

SO DEEP IN THE PITS OF THE ABYSS

SADDEN

IN MADNESS

THE AUDIOCITY OF THE COWARD TO GO BRAGGING

TO THE CROWD OF NO GOOD FRIENDS

WHEN THEY ARE ABSENT WHAT HAPPENS THEN?

ALONE, LONELY HEAD CROWED WITH LIES

HURT ON THE INSIDE

BROKEN DOWN

AND FEEBLE

I GUESS HE DIDN'T REALIZE HOW MUCH HE MAY REALLY NEED YOU.
