I have walked a thousand miles away
Places I have seen were varied and divided
Cities and its people talking every day
Yet there’s always a spot where I found loneliness
And it felt like a hundred thousand miles of speed of light
Away from where I started, in a far distant I never knew
The sun looked different wherever I stay for a while
But the stars at night always kept me back to you
I have met people from each place I visited
Each encounter reminded me the way we touched
No matter how much they resemble you in any way
Nothing could be done when I miss you at night
And it felt like a hundred thousand years long
A very long time without words, in some place I never knew
The world seemed to be moving whenever I walk along
But the road still brought me back to you
